8/20/09 Judge ruled on Fitness To Own petition. Albert and Wade Jordan are not fit to own the animals. Can not own dogs until they prove they are fit to do so. Jordan ordered to pay $2093.00 to South Animal Care Center for care and maintenance of dogs since they were impounded. You can read the judgment at Jordan Fitness to Own. The two pups shown at the end of the photo slideshow were put up for adoption at the County shelter. The female was adopted out.

Summary of Notes

    One freshly wounded dog, six other dogs in yard in deplorable conditions. Three had no water, other three had filthy water.
  • One dog roaming untethered with fresh puncture marks on muzzle and several older scars.
  • Emaciated black female pit tied to heavy logging chain. No water, no shelter.
  • 6X4 cage One adult female pit with feces that appears to be built up for a few days. Scarring all over her body, appeared to be old and untreated.
  • 8X4 cage. Divided into two sections.
    • One section - Emaciated black female pit with build up of feces. One adult female pit.
    • Second section - Healthy, large red and white male. No water and build up of excessive feces.
  • Another cage. Two ~ four month old puppies. one male and one female. both underweight. cage appears to not have been cleaned in a while. Bowl of dirty water with debris.
